How to Get to the Historic Katy Depot — See map below
The Sedalia Katy Depot is located about six blocks east of downtown Sedalia. It is easily accessible by vehicle, or Amtrak train.

By vehicle:

From Highway 50 go to Hancock Street. Turn north to Third Street and turn west to the Katy Depot.
From South Highway 65 go to Third Street and turn east (right) where the Katy Depot will be located on your right about 24 blocks down, on the southeast corner of Third and Thompson Streets.
From North Highway 65 take the 765 exit which becomes Ohio Avenue. Take Ohio Avenue to Third Street and turn east (left) where the Katy Depot will be located on your right about six blocks down, on the southeast corner of Third and Thompson Streets.

By Amtrak train:

Amtrak trains stop at the Sedalia station (corner of Ohio Avenue and Pacific Street). After leaving the train walk east (right turn) to Ohio Avenue. Walk south (right turn) four blocks to Third Street, and turn east (left turn) where the Katy Depot will be located on your right about six blocks down, on the southeast corner of Third and Thompson Streets.

Parking:

There is parking in the lot of the depot on Thompson Street and on the Katy Trail State Park lot off of Fifth, east of Thompson Streets. RV’s are asked to use the parking lot off of Fifth and Thompson Streets.
Motor coaches will find a drop off area on Thompson Street and are asked to use the parking lot off of Fifth, east of Thompson Streets.

Katy Trail:

If you are biking the Katy Trail for a few days, please use the Fifth Street lot for your vehicle.

Depot hours:
April through December—
     Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
     Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
January through March—
     Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
